Hi, I’m Dr. Markie Schiller, a passionate veterinarian with a knack for blending traditional care with integrative medicine. Growing up in rural Wisconsin, I was always surrounded by animals, which sparked my passion for animal health and the human animal bond.
Now, I’m on a mission to provide holistic and personalized care for the family members that are more then just pets.
I believe that the best outcomes come from working together with pet owners and other professionals of their animal care team, in an effort to combine our knowledge, experience and love for your pets. My goal is to provide the best care possible by providing owners with the tools they need and a customized care plan to keep each pet functional- whether thats from the couch to the bed, across the dock and through the show ring.
I’m a dog mom whose dogs have a taste for… the finer things in life. Platinum Veterinary Services was created to fit the needs of pets like mine, that need (and deserve) just a little more.
When I’m not working, you can find me riding my horse, enjoying a hot yoga class or taking my dog herd for a pup cup. When its time to unwind, I love a good book, puzzles and basking in the sun!
Let’s embark on this journey to keep your pets healthy, happy, and maybe just the right amount of trouble, together!

Veterinary Technician | Chaos Wrangler | Driver & Dog Butler
Hi, I’m Sterling. I’ve been in the veterinary industry since 1998, starting out on a barn maintenance crew and working my way up to senior veterinary technician. Along the way, I helped open and expand one of Oklahoma’s largest equine referral hospitals and discovered a true passion for patient care, equipment maintenance, and keeping both coworkers and clients laughing.
These days, I’m proud to be building Platinum Veterinary Services alongside my wife, Dr. Schiller. Veterinary medicine brought us together, and now we get to share our passion every day—caring for animals, supporting our clients, and (hopefully) making everyone laugh along the way. It’s been our dream since 2015 to create a practice that blends high-quality medicine and a peaceful place to work along with heartfelt service.
I love being the one behind the scenes keeping things moving—from patient care, to maintaining equipment, organizing our setup, and making sure Dr. Schiller can focus fully on what matters most: your pets.
When I’m not on the road with Platinum, you’ll find me watching college football (or any sport, really), playing golf, or fulfilling my very important duties as our family’s “dog butler.”

Hey there! I’m Tara – corporate dropout turned Barbie rehab vet assistant with a love for learning, finding purpose, and of course, dogs that led me down this path.
After attending Texas Tech University and earning degrees in Accounting and Finance, I spent five years building a career in the business world. Over time, I felt more drawn toward finding a calling that would actually make me excited to get up every day – something centered around animals and making a real difference in their care and well-being.
I’m currently working toward my certification in canine massage, but that’s just the first step. There’s so much to learn in the world of rehabilitation, and I’m all in—committed to continued education and hands-on experience.
I share my life with my wonderful fiancé and a semi-feral pack of dogs, with our latest addition being a show and performance pup. My crew has introduced me to the incredible world of rally, dock diving, agility, conformation, and so much more. Being so involved with them has given me valuable insight into their physical needs, emotional cues, and the kind of care that keeps them happy, healthy, and ready for anything.
I believe every dog deserves personalized, thoughtful care – and I’m proud to be a part of your animal’s journey toward intentional, healing support.
Let’s work together to keep your dogs feeling their best, from the show ring to the backyard and everywhere in between.

Veterinary Technician | Chaos Coordinator | The Other Half of Dr. Schiller’s Brain
Hi, I’m Jenny — proud multitasker, animal wrangler, and resident master of controlled chaos (and comedic relief when things get wild). My journey in vet med started back in 2014 after an internship bottle-raising fawns — because who doesn’t want to spend their summer covered in milk and deer slobber? Since then, I’ve worked in exotic, large animal, reproduction, emergency, and general practice — picking up a little bit of everything (and a lot of fur) along the way — and discovered I have a knack for finding humor even in the busiest days.
Dr. Schiller and I first met working in an ER and reconnected years later while caring for my own hospice dog — my soul dog and constant companion. Walking through that season with her, and seeing Dr. Schiller’s compassion and care, reminded me why I fell in love with veterinary medicine in the first place: the privilege of helping animals and their people through the most meaningful moments of their lives. That experience turned a heartbreaking chapter into something unexpectedly beautiful — and sparked a friendship that grew into the partnership we now share at Platinum Veterinary Services.
These days, I wear a lot of hats — tech, client-care coordinator, schedule juggler, and unofficial morale booster. My favorite part of the job is building genuine connections with pets and their people — walking alongside them through the joyful moments and the heartbreaks, too.
At home, life’s just as full: I’m married to a firefighter/paramedic (so we both thrive on a little chaos), and we have four dogs, two cats, four fish, and triplet boys who keep me running between school, sports, and snack duty. When I do get a rare free moment, you’ll probably find me shopping — online, in-store, or “just browsing” (which we all know is a lie). It’s fine. I can stop anytime… probably.
Our team is proud to be Fear Free Certified Professionals, which means we are specially trained to reduce fear, stress, and anxiety in pets during their visits. From gentle handling techniques to creating a calm environment, we take extra steps to ensure every appointment is as positive and comfortable as possible—for both you and your pet.
Our veterinary team is RECOVER Certified in both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS), which means we have specialized training in the most up-to-date, evidence-based techniques for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in animals. In the event of an emergency, this certification ensures that we are prepared to respond quickly and effectively to give your pet the best possible chance of recovery.
